Let’s review the new Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 (Buy on Amazon) from Title Boxing.
Since 1872, the speed bag has been fundamental in boxing training. Punching a speed bag helps in an athlete’s timing, hand speed, and hand-to-eye coordination. It also develops the fighter’s focus, coordination, and tempo, all crucial to boxing and combat sports. Speed bag training also increases shoulder and arm muscles, and it also teaches athletes to keep their hands up persistently.
Here are some of the styles we are going to look at:

Here’s my really in-depth video review.
Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 – Overview
The Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 is made of matte and suede genuine leather. It has an embossed logo instead of a patch, so your hands will not tear up when you are using it. It has good traction, and your hands will not slide when they get sweaty because of its rich patent leather accents. It has thicker leather around the striking area to add some weight below and to increase durability.
Because it is still brand new, the only problem I encounter was the seam’s feel on my knuckles, which will probably wear overtime. But overall, it is very durable with excellent quality and craftsmanship. It comes in different and dimension of XS (5″ x 8″), S (6″ x 9″), M (7″ x 10″).
I tested some sizes and compared them with Title Super Speed Bag and Title Gyro Balanced Speed Bag. When punching speed bags, I don’t usually wear wraps or gloves as I think wraps and gloves are not really needed on speed bags. Having the proper inflation level and a good bag with suitable materials can get you punching for hours without hurting your knuckles.

Title Super Speed Bag
Title Boxing Super Speed Bag 9″x6″ is one of my favorite speed bags. It is 7.9 oz and has a more straightforward design, and has the same height as the Title Black Speed Bag 2.0. It has a patch logo stitched on, but it’s higher and not in the striking area so won’t punch it. It feels lighter than it is, and it is easier to keep going. It has the same experience as the Title Black Speed Bag 2.0, but Title Boxing Super Speed Bag is way cheaper.
Title Super Speed Bag 8″x5″ is lighter, and because it is lighter, it is easy to keep going fast. It also has excellent leather, very durable, less painful, and cheaper. 9″x6″, compared to Title Black Speed Bag 2.0, is the same size, but this one is a lighter bag with less extra stuff in it.

Really, I can’t say enough good things about the Super Speed Bag.
- Leather cover
- Welted seams
- Reinforced loop
- Complete with long-life inner bladder
Title Gyro Balanced Speed Bag
Title Gyro Balanced Speed Bag has a style similar to the Everlast bags from the ’70s. 9″x6″ is a pleasure to punch. It is lighter than the Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 and the Title Super Speed Bag. It is easier to move fast, and not as much force is required. It has seams on the panel, but they are very soft and won’t beat up your hands. This is more expensive than the Title Super Speed Bag.
Title Gyro Balanced Speed Bag 8″x5″, 6.5oz is very light. The loop is slightly smaller than the Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 and the Title Super Speed Bag. The paints and seams do not beat up your hand, and it provides good grip and traction. It is cheaper than Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 and better for me as I will no longer need any hand protection.
- Color: Black
- Sizes: XXS (4" x 7"), S (5" x 8"), M (6" x 9"), L (7" x 10")
Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 Review – In Summary
That’s our review of the new Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 (Buy on Amazon) from Title Boxing.
The Title Black Speed Bag 2.0 has minimal logos and tags except for the black logo that feels like plastic. The material used on that part is harder, making it rough on the knuckles, but it might break-in overtime. I will post an update regarding that, but overall, this is a great speed bag designed with a thick mix of matte, suede, and luxurious patent leather accents. This speed bag is very durable and can be best used in commercial gyms where there is a high volume of people punching on it. But if you are looking for cheaper versions, Title Super Speed Bag and Title Gyro Balanced Speed Bag are your next best options.
